In September, 2021, I was promoted to suspension head.
The work requires
Designing a Double Wishbone Suspension system using Solidwork, Optimum K softwares
Suspension calculations are done on Matlab which help us to get the best result for the given conditions
Ansys structural analysis for the push rod using the knowledge of statics, solid mechanics and dynamics
Calculations for Spring and Dampers to decrease oscillations
My duty is to Standardize Height Gauge for CNC machine. The work include the conceiving of information about the basic dimensions (height, thickness and width limitations), applying this information to make a CAD model, it's analysis then converting it into prototype which is made of wood (for further changes if any), selection of material depending upon the stress and deformations and final model.
My internship is project based. I have tasks to complete (Segregation of pressure lines 4 bar and 6 bar, Cost analysis of Electrical grinders VS Pneumatic grinders and Desigining of pressure header.
1. Segregation project:
The prupose of this project is to reduce the pressure requirements in some shops (like fabrication, assembly, paint, buffing, etc). We check the feasibility of the project as it has pay back period a couple of months.
2. Cost analysis of Electrical grinders VS Pneumatic grinders:
Actually, most department uses pneumatic grinders and it cost more. My task is to reduce the cost by changing pneumatic grinders into electrical ones and check the feasibility.
3. Design and analysis of Pressure Header:
My task is to design a pressure header which could bear all the stresses results from flowing pressurized air. We use ansys (static structural) to do the analysis.
